Braves Option Teheran

The Atlanta Braves optioned top prospect Julio Teheran to their Triple A farm club in Gwinnett today. Teheran, 20, made his Major League debut last night against Philadelphia going 4.2 innings and allowing 4 hits, 2 walks and 3 earned runs in an emergency start with the parent club. Baseball America ranks Teheran as Atlanta's top prospect and the fifth best prospect in baseball this off season. He has a 3-0 record with a 1.80 ERA at Gwinnett.
